GENERAL PROCEDURE
Submissions for the 2025-2026 edition (Volume 24) of East on Central will be accepted between December 1, 2024 and February 28, 2025.
There is a separate submission process for writers submitting poetry or prose, and artists submitting visual art. Each type of submission requires a separate $10 fee.
Our online submission process will ask you to provide a little information about yourself, some information about each of your entries, and a payment of $10. When completing your submission, your payment can be accomplished either through our secure online credit card process, or by mailing us a check or money order.
Writers submitting poetry or prose may submit up to 4 pieces, which may be any combination of poetry or prose. For prose, there is maximum of 2500 words per entry. Writers will be given the option of 1) uploading their files electronically as part of the submission process, or 2) emailing their files to us.
Artists submitting visual art may submit up to 4 pieces. Artists will be given the option of 1) uploading their files as part of the submission process, 2) attending a photo shoot where a professional photographer will photograph your work, or 3) emailing their files to us.
